Folded Hope -Moon- with dome

An origami crane, crafted from handmade paper derived from Poaceae grass sourced from Köln-Kalk.

The origami crane is a universal symbol of peace and hope. This legacy was inspired by the story of Sadako Sasaki, a young girl from Hiroshima who folded paper cranes while praying for recovery from her illness after the atomic bomb. Today, these paper birds carry a timeless message of healing and a wish for world peace.

The piece is illuminated by a warm LED and suspended by a golden brass moon-shaped pipe. It features an integrated switch and is powered via USB. The glass dome can be easily removed.
