I made this paper from grass weeds of the Poaceae family, collected in Saarbrücken. The process was inspired by the traditional Japanese method of papermaking, known as washi, and was carried out entirely by hand. By boiling, beating, and forming the sheets with water, each piece of paper results in a unique texture. The paper gradually fades and turns yellow when exposed to sunlight.
